The Transcendence of Paul's Prayer

Paul's prayer is founded in the transcendence of Jesus Christ. Christ is simple for Christians to believe in, yet He is so powerful and mighty that we cannot fully comprehend His power and might. That being said, Paul prays according to this great power that God has given us in Christ. Believers have the ability to pray in power because of Christ, not out of mere desperation, or out of a forced compelling.
