God's greatness amidst great foolishness

Verses 6-8 precede a lengthy account of the foolishness in making idols. Whether the idol is a block of wood or a device that we have with us today, it is not difficult to fashion an idol in our hearts. We know what Yahweh says about idolatry and His hatred of it. But do we often enough consider His greatness against the littleness of the idols we sometimes make? In Isaiah 44:6-8, we will look at the greatness of Yahweh God, how He determines the beginning and the end, and how He knows what the future holds, which no man, or idol can claim. Yahweh God is great in every era, therefore, Christians take hold of your God who is powerful, mighty, and great!
