Benenz is the husband to Krystle and the father to 5 children. He comes to Zionsville BFC after working several jobs, the latest for the H&K Group for 9 years beginning as a rock crusher operator and finishing as a quarry foreman.
He was saved in his 20's after hearing the gospel through Todd Friel on Wretched TV. God was gracious to Benenz as he was quickly led to faithful Bible teachers that unknown to him, were (and still are) Reformed. It was out of this simple Bible teaching that he felt the call to preach this simple, yet profound truth. To make the Scriptures clearly known, as the Holy Spirit leads, so that all could understand and have a greater love and affection for the Lord Jesus Christ.
Upon hearing the gospel of Christ and repenting from his sins he attended several churches before landing at Grace BFC in Quakertown where he attended for 9 years and served as a Deacon and an Elder. It was during this time that he attended Reformed Baptist Seminary obtaining a Bachelor of Divinity in 2023.
He has been serving at Zionsville BFC since July of 2023. It is a privilege to serve alongside this faithful church who loves God, loves His Word, and wants to make Him known to the local community and the world. He holds to the BFC Articles of Faith and the 1689 London Baptist Confession.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, playing golf, and cheering for the New York Mets.
