Christ's Gift of the Local Church

Christ has given to us the local church as a gift. Therefore, what is to be said about the need to attend church? Do I need to go to church to be a Christian? These are common questions. Yet, the Bible gives a simple answer. Through the finished work of Christ on the cross, His people have the privlege of invoking the presence of God in their gatherings. This text in Hebrews crosses over from what was hidden in the Old Testament to what is revealed in the New Testament.
