An Extraordinary Situation

Mary finds herself in a situation that is unique to her. For there has never been any child nor would there be after the One whom she would bear that would be called the Son of God. But God provides for Mary in her time of need with her close relative Elizabeth having been the recipient of a miracle of God in having John the Baptist in her womb. God proves to Mary that He will take care of her and that everything that Gabriel has said about the God child would come to pass. Mary's response of submitting to the command of God is what must be true of every believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. For we have passed from being slaves of sin to slaves of righteousness.
